Thankful Blessings

Thank-you Judy for hosting this Meme: Thankful Woman's Book of Blessings.

1) I'm thankful that my DS's MRI went well. We still are waiting for the results, but he did really really, well. The MRI did cause us a bit of a headache, but it's done and he did extremely well. The hospital staff told us they never seen a child do so well!

2) That I have opportunity knocking on my door. I've been approached (via email) by a software company to do a review of their product. (More info on that yet to come). They asked me to do the review because they came across my blog: Catholic Christian Homeschooling! I'm NOT being paid for it, but I'm still thankful because it is an opportunity to do something that I like to do!

3) That I have the opportunity to go to TX with my sister. She is back from Afghanistan. She did a 14 month tour of Afghanistan. She's home now and will be station in TX for at least the next 12 months. She's here in IL to get her 20 month old son, and later today we leave with her and her son to TX. We are driving down and then on Monday, my kids and I are flying back to IL. My sister and her son will be staying in TX. So I will be gone for the rest of the week...

  3. I love reading thankful blessings. We are blessed by an amazing God in the good times and the scary times.. Last summer my daughter she was 10 had a MRI she was fainting.. the MRI tech said he saw a cyst on her brain... I called my church prayer chain.. hundreds of prayers went out.. a week later the brain doc called and said she was perfect.. God blessed my family with a miracle that day and my girl.. is doing great! I pray for you and your family..

  5. First an apology - Please FORGIVE me for not stopping by sooner and thanking you for signing up to follow. I truly do NOT take that lightly. There are only so many hours in a day and when someone says, "I want to spend a few moments with you," that's a gift.

I enjoyed your post and I hope you have a wonderful time this week. So glad your child made it trhough the MRI. Those can be VERY difficult. I have had many and you nearly have to knock me in the head with a hammer to keep me in there! lol I'll be praying for a good outcome.

I feature Mother Teresa's "Do It Anyway" on my blog today. I'm sure you're familiar with it but it never fails to speak to me.

    Blessings, and thanks again.

  6. I hope your trip to Texas went smoothly. As a military family, I want to say thank you for supporting your sister. Many times you wonderful civilians are overlooked. Military families stay strong and are able to go through the challenges because of strong families like yours, and mine who help us move and provide a "home" when ours is constantly changing. You are such a blessing to your sister. May God continue to bless your beautiful family.
