Sunday Snippets-Catholic Carnival

I have 2 post this week that are my favorites:

Planting Socks: The Results This post is about how we planted socks to watch them grow. Okay so socks don't really grow, but when you go walking.....

Summer Reading: FREE book This post is about how ANY child 1st-6th grade can participate in Barnes and Nobles Summer Reading program. If they do they can "earn" a free book. Also it has the information that HOMESCHOOLERS need to to sign up for Pizza-Hut's Fall book-it program. The fall program allows homeschool children to read x amount of books (amount set by the teacher) per month to "earn" a coupon for a FREE pizza hut personal pan pizza. It's jut like the program that many school do, but this is for homeschoolers. If you are a homeschooler and you want your child to do the fall program then you need to resister NOW! Registration ends sometime in July. So do it today before you forget!

  1. Thanks for joining us. One day when my five year old gets her socks filthy, I'll have to try planting them rather than washing them.

  3. I love the planting socks story- great idea for those odd socks that seem to mysteriously appear or disappear because the dryer has eaten one of them!
