I'm a Mistress and proud of it!

Mrs. (mi'iz) n. A title prefixed to the name of a married woman: a contracted form of Mistress.

Don't believe it! Look it up in a dictionary like I did!

  1. I can't believe this! It's people like you that are destroying the moral fiber of American society! Your poor poor husband - do you ever think about how much pain you are causing him?!?   2. First Anonymous PLEASE read the caption on the picture and LOOK up the word Mrs. in the dictionary!

    Mrs = A contracted Form of Mistress!

    This from dictionary.com Mrs., first recorded in the early 17th century, was originally, like Miss, an abbreviation of mistress. Mrs. and mistress were at first used interchangeably in all contexts, but by the second half of that century, the written form of the abbreviation was largely confined to use as a title preceding a woman's surname.

    I'm sure if you took the time to look at the PHOTO and read the caption you wouldn't have slammed me so!

    I doubt you'll come back to apologize.
