Disney is having Homeschool Days @ their Florida Location.
Dates: January 25th and 26th, 2010
Location: Disney @ Florida, USA
The Event is a series of classes that are offered on January 25th and 26th, 2010. The classes offered are basically a range of science classes: how to make things move, marine science, physics, chemistry, etc.

Personal Note: With us being in IL it's pretty much impossible for us to go, but I do know that some of my readers live a little closer to Florida so I figured it was worth sharing!
I think it's really neat that Disney has this, but even when Disney isn't doing their Homeschool Days, the parks still offer educational value. Epcot on it's own can be quite the educational experience. We don't homeschool, but we still like incorporate education into our vacation. One really easy way to do that in WDW is to check out the "Behind the Seeds" tour at the Land Pavilion in Epcot. Animal Kingdom also offers educational experiences on conservation.
ReplyDeleteMy friend and her family participated in the Homeschool Days last year, and they had a great time. The programs were well planned, and her children loved them.
