I use sitemeter to help see how many people visit my blog and how they got here! I've noticed a lot of traffic from the Google search: Michael Jackson Kids Catholic or Michael Jackson's Children Catholic.
All of these searches point to a post I did about Michael Jackson's Kids being homeschooled. However, I have the feeling this is not what people are looking for. So I wondered what are they looking for? Why is the word "Catholic" being associated with Michael Jackson's Children?
Well it turns out that Mark Lester is claiming to the true paternal father of Paris Jackson. Not only that but according to ABC News: Lester is saying that Michael Jackson wanted his children to be raised Catholic.
Now the question is Why Catholic?

Thomas Jefferson Method of Homeschooling
Posted by
Nichole "Nikki" Warren
I've heard of Eclectic, Unit Studies, Charlotte Mason, School At Home, Unschooling, along with many others. However for the very first time this week I heard of The Thomas Jefferson Method.
In my quest to find out if Michael Jackson really homeschooled his children. I came across this CBS Early Show Clip. In this clip this homeschooling Mom talks about how she can complete her child's 3rd grade requirements in ONE month!!
Watch CBS Videos Online
Wow, being able to teach your child's education requirements in ONE month, is this to good to be true? Or how about their reading level going from beginner to high school in 100 hours? Honestly I'm on the fence. I really don't know if it's possible.
I did do some research on the Thomas Jefferson Method had have discovered that as long as the Seven Keys are being used, parents are setting an example of studying, and children are being taught using the Phases of Learning as a guide, it is Thomas Jefferson Method.
Is anybody more familiar with the Thomas Jefferson Method? Can any body offer any insight, tips, comments. I'm very interested in this....

Michael Jackson, Children, Homeschooling

Michael Jackson and Homeschooling? Really? I never thought I had much in common with the "King of Pop". I knew he had kids, but to be honest I didn't really pay that much attention to his children. It never crossed my mind! It's funny how death can draw things into the light things that we may not think about!
Who will take care of the kids? Where will they go to school? Or will they continue the education that they have now? Ideas that many of us don't think about! The reporters are all speculating who will raise and care for Micheal's kids. From the segment above I gathered that Michael Jackson's kids have been "homeschooled". It never crossed my mind that Michael Jackson would be a homeschooler! It never crossed my mind that Michael Jackson's kids were homeschooled!
The only thing I have to say is that I was disappointed by what I took to be a negative reaction to homeschooling from the middle guest. First I do know that Michael lived a shelter life and that he, like most celebs, tried to keep the kids out of the media. Second, even if they did go "to school" it wouldn't have been normal by any means because of who their father was!
Seriously I'm sure they would have wondered: Are they being friends with me because they like me? Or are they being friends with me because of who my father is? My Aunt is? My Uncles are?
Does anyone think that Obama's kids are having a "normal" childhood and are making "normal" relationship with other children just because they are "in school"? Do you think they can just have sleep-overs, or go to play date at the park with John and Jane?
