I've been simply AMAZED that in the last 15 months I've had over 8,000 visitors to Catholic Christian Homeschooling. That's an average of 20 visitors per day.
Lately, thanks to programs like statcounter, I know that most of visitors have been coming from google, blogger, and the blog Mommy and Me. Thank-you ALL for being followers, visiting, and coming back again and again to Catholic Christian Homeschooling. Yesterday DH and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.

Yes, I do read them all!
Posted by
Nichole "Nikki" Warren
If anybody takes a look at my profile they will quickly realize that I follow a LOT of blogs. (341 and counting to be exact). I'm always on the look out for more blogs! I'm truly enjoying reading blogs by other homeschoolers! How?
Well to be honest I use google reader. Every blog that I follow automatically shows up in google reader. My google reader subscription count is actually higher because NOT all blogs have the followers gadget.
Anytime a person makes a new post I know about it because it shows up in my google reader, thanks to RSS feeds! So I really viewing all of the posting from Google Reader. What I do is read the title and the first few sentences and if I'm hook I'll read it all. If I want to comment on the post then I'll click on the link provided from my google reader to get the post/blog so I can comment.
How much time does it take? Well it just depends on how many new postings there are and how many of them have me hooked! To be honest many people only update their blog once a week and others only once a month. Using google reader also takes the guess work out of who has made a new post and who hasn't! For the most part I can go through the new postings in about an hour. Yes, I know an hour is a long time, but when you are viewing over 400 blogs/news feeds an hour is not that bad!!
Thank Goodness for RSS feeds and Google Reader!

Almost 5 months ago to the day I put sitemeter on My Adventures Into Christian Homeschooling. I really did it as a way to help track how many visitors I have.
I just hit the 2,000 visitor mark! That's about 400 visitors per month; 13 visitors per day! That's so awesome! Not to mention the fact that I have over 30 followers and over 40 subscribed readers!!
Thanks for visiting, being a member, or subscribing to My Adventures Into Christian Homeschooling!

Reminder Lesson Plans/Google Reader
Posted by
Nichole "Nikki" Warren
I just wanted to remind everyone seeing school is back in session for us I do have our lesson plans posted on my website. The direct link to those lesson plans are found in the menu bar at the top of this page.
Also I just want to say THANK-YOU to each and everyone of you that are regular readers of my blog! I'm honored to have 30 followers and OVER 40 subscribers! I am truly humbled that each and everyone one of you have become regular readers of My Adventures into Christian Homeschooling!!!
I know that it's hard at time to keep up with all that is happening in the blogosphere that is why I love to use Google Reader! I know there are other readers out there, but with Google Reader I can read the blogs I FOLLOW (via Google friends connect) and Subscribe to in ONE place! Not only blogs, but news feeds, updates on my favorite websites, etc. If you don't use a reader already, then I HIGHLY suggest that you do. It makes things so much easier!!

Instructions: You are supposed to write a note with the ABC's of you. At the end, choose 26 people to be tagged. You have to tag me so really you just need 25 more people. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you - but not in a creepy stalker kind of way.

Questions about the feed?
Posted by
Nichole "Nikki" Warren
I've noticed that my readers and followers have slowly but surely grown over the last few months and I just want to take a moment to thank-you all for being here!
For those of you that are subscribed readers (subscribe to the feed) I wanted to know if I should leave the feed as a full text as it is now? 0r if a preview would be better?
I know whatever I do with the feed I WILL NOT add ads to it. I personally find feeds with ads to be annoying! So I won't go there. I'm just wondering if a preview might be better? Or if I should leave it full text as it is now? It's just something that I've been thinking about. So instead of just making a decision I thought I would get input from the subscribed readers. After all you are the ones reading so the change would effect you more then me!!
I've added A POLL to the blog just for this. It is located just ABOVE the posting here on the blog, so please take a moment to vote in the poll.
Seeing I just want votes, I'm closing the comments for this post.
Thank-you, everyone, for taking a moment to vote. Thank-you for taking a moment or 2 out of your busy days to even read my blog! I feel truly honored to have each and everyone of you here! After all this is just one small corner of the WWW, and well with everything that is out there it's humbling to know that there are people here too!
God Bless You All
